Canon Extender RF 2x

CANON EXTENDER RF 2x OVERVIEW

The Canon Extender RF 2x is a professional teleconverter designed to double the focal length of compatible Canon RF telephoto lenses. It is mainly used by wildlife, sports, aviation, and documentary photographers who need extreme reach without purchasing a longer super-telephoto lens.
Extend the reach of select Canon RF-mount lenses with the Extender RF 2x. This teleconverter magnifies the image by 2x and retains full communication between the lens and camera body, enabling metering, autofocus, and image stabilization as well as the transmission of Exif data. Additionally, the Extender RF is dust and water resistant and has a heat shield exterior to ensure optimal performance in a range of conditions.

By doubling the focal length, it allows lenses like 300mm or 500mm to effectively reach up to 600mm or 1000mm, making it a powerful tool for distant subjects.
