Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual Lens (Canon RF)

CANON RF-S 7.8MM F/4 STM DUAL LENS (CANON RF) Overview

The Canon RF-S 7.8mm f/4 STM Dual Lens is a compact stereoscopic lens designed for creating immersive 3D photos, spatial videos, and stereoscopic content using compatible APS-C Canon EOS R cameras. Unlike Canon's VR180 fisheye lenses, this model is designed to create natural-looking 3D imagery with a perspective closer to normal human vision, making it ideal for content destined for devices such as spatial video viewers and modern mixed-reality headsets.

The lens uses a dual optical system that captures left-eye and right-eye perspectives simultaneously onto a single camera sensor, greatly simplifying the production of 3D content compared to traditional multi-camera setups.
