Phottix Raja 60 x 120cm Softbox Overview

The Phottix Raja 60 x 120cm Softbox is a professional strip lighting modifier designed for photographers and videographers who need precise light control, fast setup, and portability. Its elongated strip design produces controlled directional light rather than broad soft illumination, making it especially useful for fashion photography, portrait edge lighting, product photography, and cinematic video work. The Raja series is built around a quick-fold umbrella-style mechanism that allows the softbox to open and close in seconds without assembling rods manually. This makes it ideal for fast-paced studio workflows and on-location shoots. The included honeycomb grid enhances control by narrowing light spread and reducing unwanted spill.

Phottix Raja 60 x 120cm Softbox Lighting Performance

The 60 x 120cm strip design delivers highly controlled lighting suited for shaping rather than flooding a scene. It is especially effective when creating rim and edge light separation, highlighting subject contours in portraits, producing clean reflections in product photography, adding cinematic accents in video production, and controlling spill in tight studio environments. The honeycomb grid further refines the beam, allowing precise directional control while maintaining soft diffusion quality.
